The ideal candidate holds a JD, is admitted to the NY Bar, and has 5–7 years of relevant experience at a reputable law firm, investment bank, or financial institution.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active NY State Bar in good standing.
• 5-7 years of experience in Finance, Banking, or Structured Finance at a reputable law firm, investment bank, or other financial institution.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate primary and ancillary finance documents including credit agreements, security agreements, and intercreditor agreements using LSTA, LMA, or bespoke frameworks.
• Assist in executing structured finance transactions such as warehouse facilities, asset-based lending, and securitizations (RMBS, CMBS, ABS, etc.).
• Independently manage assigned transaction workstreams and coordinate with internal stakeholders and outside counsel.
• Monitor relevant regulatory and legislative changes and advise internal stakeholders accordingly.
• Manage outside counsel, outside legal expenses, third-party matters, NDAs, engagement letters, and ancillary litigation matters.
