Kimbrough Legal, PLLC in Austin, TX is seeking an Associate Attorney in family law to advocate for clients and guide them toward case objectives.

Qualifications

• Must have passed the bar exam and hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA).
• Admission to the Texas Bar.
• Evidence of current Texas Driver’s License and automobile insurance.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience handling family law cases in Texas.
• Ability to track billable hours.
• Strong knowledge of MS Word and Excel; ability to learn new programs easily.

Responsibilities

• Attend court hearings, perform legal research, and collaborate with other attorneys to offer legal advice.
• Maintain organized files to ensure accessibility of recent updates to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
• Analyze legal matters for conflicts, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on their behalf.
• Prepare legal documents and correspondence, including contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Communicate effectively with paralegals and clients to ensure efficient case management.

What Our Associate Attorneys Do:
