CyberCoders seeks an experienced Employment Litigation Attorney for our Orange County office. This role handles sophisticated employment matters while collaborating with a team of accomplished litigators.

A hybrid schedule and strong mentorship are offered to support long-term career growth. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in employment litigation, strong advocacy skills, and the ability to manage cases from start to finish, including depositions and court appearances.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employment litigation experience, preferably representing employers.
• Strong litigation skills and judgment with ability to manage cases from inception through resolution.
• Excellent communication and client management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle employment litigation matters through all phases of the litigation process.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct and defend depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and company representatives.
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
• Analyze legal and factual issues and develop effective defense strategies.
• Manage all aspects of discovery, including document review and written discovery.
• Prepare cases for trial and assist with trial proceedings as needed.
• Advise employer clients on employment law risks and compliance issues.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide timely status updates.

The Employment Litigation Attorney will represent employers in a variety of workplace related disputes, including claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, and other employment law matters. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills, excellent judgment, and the ability to manage cases from inception through resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle employment litigation matters through all phases of the litigation process.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct and defend depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and company representatives.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar.
• 3+ years of employment litigation experience, preferably representing employers.
• Experience handling discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and wrongful termination matters.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Deposition, motion practice, and courtroom experience.
• Trial experience or significant trial preparation experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and client management abilities.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with a team.
