Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a talented Civil Litigation Attorney to join our team in Orange County on a hybrid schedule. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse litigation practice, engage directly with clients, and handle matters from inception through resolution within a collaborative environment.

You will represent business disputes, contract claims, and real estate matters, draft pleadings, defend depositions, and appear in court.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active California State Bar membership.
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong research, writing and analytical skills.
• Experience handling depositions, motion practice, and court appearances.
• Trial experience or substantial trial preparation is a plus; ability to manage a caseload independently while working with a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle civil litigation matters through all phases of the litigation process.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Appear at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
• Develop case strategy and assess liability, damages, and settlement opportunities.
• Manage discovery, including document review and written discovery.
• Prepare cases for trial and assist with trial proceedings as needed.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and provide timely case updates.
• Collaborate with partners and fellow attorneys to achieve successful outcomes.

Position Overview
