Associate or Senior Associate Attorney – Education Law
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct legal research and apply findings to support a wide range of client matters, including both litigation and general counsel issues.
- Draft legal documents such as memos, correspondence, contracts, policies, motions, and briefs, under the guidance of senior attorneys.
- Assist in litigation and administrative proceedings, including discovery, hearing preparation, and client representation as appropriate.
- Participate in advising public school clients on legal obligations involving governance, compliance, student and personnel matters, and special education.
- Attend board of education meetings, IEP meetings, mediations, and administrative hearings, with mentorship and supervision.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy, legal analysis, and project planning.
- Monitor and manage legal deadlines and assist with procedural compliance.
- Maintain organized case files and contribute to high-quality, responsive client service.
Qualifications : We are open to candidates at varying levels of experience, including new graduates and attorneys seeking a transition into education law. The strongest candidates will demonstrate :

- Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

- Commitment to professional growth and openness to mentorship and training.
- Preferred but not required) Prior exposure to education law, special education, labor / employment law, or public sector work.
- Partial and fully remote work options are available, subject to client and business needs.
- Training and mentorship will be provided for early-career attorneys.
