Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution in Boston seeks a 2nd to 5th year Commercial Litigation Associate to join its highly regarded international litigation firm on a hybrid basis. This role offers direct access to sophisticated commercial disputes for financial institutions, corporations, and private equity backed businesses with meaningful responsibility from day one.

A base salary of $225,000 to $325,000 with a performance bonus and a target of 2,000 billable hours, plus a hybrid schedule with three days

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of complex commercial litigation experience at a reputable firm.
• Proven experience handling discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation in business disputes.
• Clerkship experience and both plaintiff and defense exposure preferred but not required.
• Admission to the Massachusetts bar.

Responsibilities

• Manage key phases of complex commercial litigation from discovery through trial preparation.
• Draft motions, briefs, and memoranda in high value business disputes in state and federal courts.
• Coordinate document discovery, including strategy, review oversight, and preparation of discovery responses.
• Support and, as appropriate, conduct depositions, witness preparation, and hearings with direct client exposure.
• Work closely with partners on case strategy while taking substantive ownership of assigned matters.

The Role

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a 2nd to 5th year Commercial Litigation Associate with:

• Approximately 2 to 5 years of complex commercial litigation experience at a reputable firm
• Proven experience handling discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation in business disputes
• Admission to the Massachusetts bar
• Strong academic credentials from a well regarded law school
• Clerkship experience and both plaintiff and defense exposure preferred but not required
• $225,000 to $325,000 base salary, depending on experience
• Performance based bonus opportunity
• Target of 2,000 billable hours
• Hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in office
