This full-time position handles civil litigation matters from inception through resolution, with exposure to defense work across insurance defense and related areas.

You will conduct legal research, draft pleadings and discovery, participate in depositions and hearings, and develop case strategies.

Qualifications

• Active Alabama Bar license in good standing.
• Open to defense practice (insurance defense/ medmal/ product liability/ civil litigation/ defense litigation/ personal injury/ mass tort).

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy recommendations.
• Handle depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
• Develop case strategy and provide practical, business-focused legal advice.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions, hearings, mediations, and other proceedings.
