We Are Legal Revolution in the Houston area is seeking an experienced attorney for a 100% civil litigation role focusing on real estate, business, and construction disputes, primarily on defense side. This hourly, retainer-funded practice includes a daily billable target and on-site work with limited hybrid flexibility.

The role offers a partnership-track opportunity with the potential to grow as the firm expands, with competitive compensation up to $200,000 base salary plus bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil litigation experience, including real estate, business, or construction disputes.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Strong legal writing and advocacy skills, including motion practice.

Responsabilités

• Manage civil litigation matters in real estate, business, and construction disputes.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, including dispositive motions.
• Develop and execute discovery strategy with written discovery, document review, and depositions.
• Prepare for hearings, mediations, and trial.
• Advise clients on strategy, risk, and practical resolution with clear communication.
• Record time and support billing in an hourly, retainer-based model.

THE ROLE

• Manage civil litigation matters involving real estate, business, and construction disputes.
• Draft pleadings, substantive motions, and briefs, including dispositive motion practice.
• Develop and execute discovery strategy, including written discovery, document review, and depositions.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Advise clients on strategy, risk, and practical resolution options, with clear and consistent communication.
• Record time and support billing in an hourly model with upfront retainers.

LOCATION, SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

Location:

Houston area, Texas

Schedule:

100% on-site (limited hybrid flexibility by exception)

Compensation:

Base salary up to $200,000 (experience dependent), plus bonus potential

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of civil litigation experience, ideally involving real estate, business, and/or construction disputes.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Strong legal writing and advocacy skills, including motion practice.
• Comfort working in an hourly billing model supported by upfront retainers.
• Ability to work on-site in the Houston area.

PREFERRED BACKGROUND

• Experience taking matters through discovery, depositions, and dispositive motions.
• Background aligned with an hourly, retainer-based disputes practice.
• Not coming from a practice primarily focused on personal injury or insurance defense (practice style fit).
