Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience in real estate, corporate, or contract law.
• Experience advising cities or municipalities in civil matters.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and other software.
• Available during business hours and some evenings/weekends.
• Excellent personal skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review contracts, opinions, and governing documents and amendments.
• Interact with clients over the phone and in person.
• Chair client corporate meetings.
• Interpret County real estate and recorders' requirements.
• Manage electronic task lists and billing.
• Demonstrate exceptional writing and editing skills.
• Display strong project-management and client-management abilities.
• Independently manage a high-volume drafting caseload while collaborating with attorneys and staff.

Growing real estate law firm is looking for a transactional associate attorney to join our dynamic and engaging governing document amendments group that offers a tremendous opportunity for long term advancement and professional development opportunities.

The attorney will function as both legal counsel and project manager, guiding clients through complex amendment and governing document-rewrite projects.

• 2 years of relevant experience in real estate, corporate, or contract law, or in representing or advising cities, municipalities, or other governmental organizations in civil matters.
• Prior work experience must demonstrate dedication and hard work
• Prior experience using a Microsoft operation system and other sophisticated software
• Must be available during business hours, as well as some evening and weekends for client meetings
• Must be able to demonstrate excellent personal skills
