Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• 3–6 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense or coverage.
• Active bar admission in Pennsylvania or New Jersey required.
• Additional admission in New York is strongly preferred; Delaware or Maryland is valued.
• Experience with depositions, motion practice, and discovery management.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
• Experience working directly with clients and collaborating with attorneys and staff.
• Interest in developing case management and supervisory skills.
• Strong academic background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent insurance carriers and their insureds in complex litigation matters.
• Analyze insurance policies and prepare coverage opinions and memoranda.
• Manage litigation from claim investigation through resolution.
• Develop case strategy and provide legal guidance throughout the litigation process.
• Draft motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Participate in mediations and arbitrations.
• Assist with trial preparation and case strategy.
• Communicate directly with insurer clients regarding case developments and strategy.
• Manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities effectively.
