Job summary

Confidential Employer in Yardley, PA, is seeking attorneys with 4-7 years of litigation experience (insurance defense and/or coverage preferred) and active PA or NJ bar licensure to join a boutique practice handling high-exposure litigation for insurers and corporate clients.

This on-site role offers mentorship, real responsibility, and opportunities to supervise junior attorneys, with a 1,900 billable-hour target and bonus opportunities. Competitive compensation and robust benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active bar license in PA or NJ required (NY a strong plus).
• 4-7 years of litigation experience (insurance defense and/or coverage preferred).
• Strong writing, analysis, and case-management skills across multiple deadlines.
• Confident communicator who works well in a team-forward, high-standards environment.

Responsibilities

• Defend insurers and their insureds in first-party property and third-party liability matters.
• Manage cases from inception through resolution, including investigations, strategy, discovery, and motion practice.
• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and key discovery materials; take and defend depositions.
• Prepare for mediations, arbitrations, and trial (including trial presentations).
• Research coverage issues and draft clear, client-ready coverage opinions.
• Communicate directly with insurers, corporate legal departments, and opposing counsel to drive outcomes.
• Coordinate with partners and senior counsel while mentoring and supporting junior attorneys.

• Handle high-exposure, complex litigation and appellate matters for sophisticated insurers, corporate legal departments, and high net worth clients
