A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney interested in developing a career in insurance coverage law. The position involves assisting with sophisticated insurance claims and coverage matters while working closely with experienced attorneys. Prior insurance coverage experience is beneficial but not required, as hands‑on training and guidance will be provided. The role is suitable for a motivated attorney with strong research, writing, and analytical abilities who is interested in developing specialized insurance law experience.

Duties:

• Assist with the evaluation and management of complex and high-stakes insurance claims.
• Support senior attorneys in handling insurance coverage matters.
• Conduct legal research regarding insurance policies, coverage issues, claims, and applicable law.
• Draft insurance coverage opinions and related legal documents.
• Analyze policy language and relevant legal authorities to assist with coverage determinations.
• Assist with case strategy and the preparation of coverage-related matters.
• Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on client matters.
• Participate in training and professional development focused on insurance coverage law.
• Travel occasionally as required for client or case-related matters.

Requirements:

• Strong interest in developing expertise in insurance coverage law.
• Prior insurance coverage experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
