Associate Attorney – Investment Management – Financial Institutions – NY, Philadelphia, Washington, DC

About the Role:

The firm is seeking a Midlevel Associate (3–5 years' experience) to join its Investment Management – Financial Institutions practice group. This role is available in the New York, Philadelphia, or Washington, DC offices and focuses on advising leading investment management firms on complex regulatory matters.

What You’ll Do:

• Advise clients on compliance with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and related federal securities laws
• Provide counsel on investment adviser registration, conflicts of interest, disclosure requirements, compliance policies and procedures, marketing and advertising
• Support clients during SEC regulatory examinations and enforcement actions
• Assist in the development of new financial products and services
• Collaborate with a highly skilled team on sophisticated regulatory and transactional matters

What We’re Looking For:

• 3–5 years of relevant experience at a major law firm and/or the Securities and Exchange Commission
• Deep familiarity with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and federal securities law
• Proven experience advising top-tier investment management firms
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong drafting, organizational, communication, and analytical skills
• Active bar membership in the state of the office where you are applying (or eligibility for reciprocity)
