Job Title: Associate Attorney

Position Overview:

The Associate Attorney will handle a variety of legal matters under the supervision of senior attorneys, including client consultations, legal research, drafting pleadings, preparing for hearings, and providing case management support. This role offers the opportunity for hands‑on experience, courtroom exposure, and long‑term professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and assist with an active caseload in accordance with firm standards.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents including motions, pleadings, contracts, and correspondence.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings as needed.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure deadlines are met.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex matters and strategy.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Tennessee
• Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing law or working in a legal environment (clerkship, internship, or associate experience).
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
