Job summary

U.S. Law Center in Santa Ana, CA seeks an Associate Attorney to handle immigration matters with a fast-paced, varied caseload. You will gain substantive courtroom and casework experience, attend hearings, draft pleadings, and communicate with clients on strategy.

JD from an accredited law school and bar admission are required, with training provided for candidates new to immigration or civil litigation. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• Bar admission in good standing is required.
• We will train the right candidate — prior experience in criminal, immigration, and/or civil litigation is a plus but not required.
• Strong legal writing and research skills are required.
• Comfortable appearing in court before immigration judges and handling a high-volume docket.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
