Job summary

The Los Angeles County Bar Association - LACBA is seeking a litigation attorney to join its collaborative team in California. This role offers substantive litigation work, direct client exposure, and a strong platform for long-term professional growth for ambitious attorneys.

You will manage matters from inception through resolution, draft pleadings and motions, conduct legal research, handle discovery, prepare witnesses for hearings, and appear at court appearances and settlement conferences

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license required.
• 2+ years of litigation experience preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience with discovery, motion practice, and depositions.
• Courtroom, arbitration, or mediation experience is a plus.
• Desire to build a long term litigation practice.
• Teachable, collaborative, and motivated approach.

Pay range and compensation package

• Base salary Range $130,000-$200,000, (DOE)
• 401(k) with profit sharing
• Medical coverage
• Unlimited PTO for attorneys (within reason)
