Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle substantive work across complex litigation and mass tort matters
• Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex issues
• Participate in depositions, hearings, discovery, and trial preparation
• Review medical records, expert materials, and case documents
• Work with attorneys, clients, experts, co-counsel, and opposing counsel
• Contribute to case strategy and own assigned matters
• Manage multiple active matters and deadlines

Location: San Francisco Bay Area | Office in Greenbrae, CA

Attorney | Complex Litigation & Mass Tort

A respected plaintiff-side litigation firm is adding an Attorney with approximately 3-5 years of civil litigation experience to its Greenbrae team.

This is an opportunity to work on complex, high-stakes litigation and mass tort matters alongside experienced trial attorneys, with meaningful responsibility for substantive legal work, case strategy, research, writing, discovery, and motion practice.

We are open to attorneys from a range of civil litigation backgrounds. Direct mass tort experience is a plus, but it is not required.

Strong candidates may come from personal injury, product liability, toxic tort, catastrophic injury, class action, complex civil litigation, or defense litigation and should have strong writing and hands-on litigation experience.

What You'll Do

• Handle substantive work across complex litigation and mass tort matters
• Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal and factual issues
• Participate in depositions, hearings, discovery, and trial preparation
• Review medical records, expert materials, and case documents
• Work with attorneys, clients, experts, co-counsel, and opposing counsel
• Contribute to case strategy and take ownership of assigned matters
• Manage multiple active matters and deadlines

What We're Looking Fo r

• Approximately 3-5 years of civil litigation experience
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Hands-on experience with motions, pleadings, discovery, and litigation
• Experience with depositions, hearings, or other court proceedings
• J.D. and active California Bar admission in good standing
• Strong organization and attention to detail
