Job summary

Primary Talent Source is seeking a 3–5 year Associate Attorney to join a plaintiff-side litigation firm in Greenbrae, CA. The role offers exposure to mass tort and complex litigation, with close collaboration with seasoned trial attorneys and meaningful ownership of substantive matters.

You will work on case development, strategy, and trial preparation, handling depositions, motions, and discovery while building courtroom skills. Hybrid work, 3 days in office.

Qualifications

Job description

A respected plaintiff-side litigation firm is looking for a 3 to 5-year Associate Attorney to join its team in Greenbrae.

This is an opportunity to work on high-stakes mass tort and complex litigation matters, partnering closely with experienced trial attorneys, working on sophisticated matters, and taking meaningful ownership of substantive litigation work.

This is a hands-on role for an attorney who enjoys complex litigation and wants to be closely involved in case development, strategy and trial preparation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Handle matters involving mass tort, MDL, product liability, toxic tort, pharmaceutical, medical device and other complex litigation
• Draft and respond to motions, briefs, pleadings and discovery
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal and factual issues
• Assist with depositions, hearings, discovery and trial preparation
• Review and analyze medical records, expert materials and other case documents
• Work directly with attorneys, clients, experts, co-counsel and opposing counsel
• Contribute to case strategy and take ownership of assigned matters

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3–5 years of litigation experience
• Experience with plaintiff-side litigation, ideally mass tort, MDL, product liability, toxic tort, pharmaceutical or medical device matters
• Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills
• Experience drafting motions, briefs, pleadings and discovery
• J.D. and active California Bar admission
• Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple matters
