Prevail Recruiting seeks a Senior General Liability Defense Attorney for Southern California, fully remote. The role handles GL and bodily injury defense matters for regional and national carriers, with real caseload responsibility and an 1,850 billable hour target.

Candidates should have 5-10+ years of litigation experience, an active California Bar license, and be comfortable managing a remote, independent practice while delivering strong written advocacy.

• Strong legal writer with practical, business-minded judgment.

Responsibilities

• Manage general liability and bodily injury defense matters from strategy to resolution.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and expert witnesses.
• Draft and argue motions, including summary judgment and discovery motions.
• Participate in mediations, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Work directly with clients and adjusters to evaluate exposure and develop case strategy.

The firm handles a broad mix of GL, auto, premises, and bodily injury defense matters for regional and national insurance carriers, offering attorneys real caseload responsibility, full remote flexibility, and a manageable 1,850 billable hour target.
