HALO llc is seeking an Associate Attorney for a remote role headquartered in Utah, with eligibility for partnership for lateral candidates. Utah attorneys with varying experience levels are invited to apply and build an insurance defense practice.

The position requires active Utah bar status, full-time commitment, and the ability to work independently from a remote setting while managing complex litigation and discovery.

Qualifications

• Active Utah Bar license required.
• Must be located in Utah.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Insurance defense experience preferred, but not required.
• Wyoming or Colorado Bar license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and writing, including pleadings, motions, written discovery, disclosures, and other litigation documents.
• Communicate effectively with clients, claims professionals, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Manage and conduct all phases of litigation, including evaluation of claims, defenses, and next steps.
• Conduct depositions, argue motions, and try cases.
