Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a J.D. from an accredited law school, Maine Bar membership or eligibility, and 2+ years of litigation experience, with strong research, writing, and analytical skills to manage multiple matters and deadlines.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Maine Bar membership or ability to obtain.
• 2+ years of litigation experience preferred.
• Experience with pleadings, motions, discovery, and/or legal memoranda.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Candidates with experience in civil litigation, commercial litigation, insurance, employment, or other related areas are encouraged to apply.

Well-established law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its growing practice in Portland. This is an opportunity to work on a broad range of litigation matters with meaningful responsibility, client interaction, and exposure to all stages of litigation.
