The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our team of experienced attorneys in a wide range of legal matters, including property insurance, personal injury, immigration law, and more. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research using various resources, including Westlaw, to gather relevant information and support the preparation of legal documents and pleadings.
- Assist in the investigation, negotiation and settlements, utilizing strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Litigate cases in state and federal courts, demonstrating a keen understanding of the legal process and a commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to analyze complex legal issues and develop creative and effective solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations, ensuring that our firm is well-equipped to handle the latest legal developments.
Qualifications:
- A Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field.
- A current license to practice law in Florida.
- Proven experience in the legal profession, preferably as an associate attorney. (1-2 years)
- Strong research skills, with the ability to use various legal research tools.
- Excellent negotiation and litigation skills.
- The ability to write clearly and concisely, with a focus on effective communication.
- A strong commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
