Salary $100k - $135k, commensurate with experience, plus 10% commission on new cases generated. The Associate Attorney will work full time on-site at the firm’s New York, NY office, focusing on real estate and tenant-related matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, memoranda, and other court filings, and appearing in Housing Court, Civil Court, Supreme Court, and before relevant administrative agencies. The role involves advising tenants, shareholders, unit owners, and housing associations on their rights and obligations, negotiating settlements, and participating in mediations and conferences. The Associate Attorney will collaborate with partners and other attorneys on litigation strategy, manage case files, communicate regularly with clients, and help prepare for hearings, trials, and administrative proceedings. The position requires strong attention to detail, clear written and oral advocacy, and a commitment to tenant representation and real estate law.
