Job summary

Illinois State Bar Association is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our litigation team, handling contract disputes, partnership and shareholder disputes, landlord-tenant actions, mechanic's lien cases, and fiduciary litigation.

Responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing pleadings, discovery, contracts, memoranda, and correspondence; preparing and answering discovery; attending court for status appearances, motions, hearings, and trial; and supporting partners.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in Illinois.
• 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in private practice.
• Strong legal research skills.
• Excellent writing skills.
