Job description

Our growing firm is seeking a probate and estate planning attorney who enjoys working in a busy and dynamic environment. You would be handling a mix of estate planning, probate, and trust administration cases. The successful candidate will have some experience with estate planning and probate procedures. This is a full-time role, either remote or based in our San Diego office. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Drafting revocable trusts and related documents
• Handling probate cases from start to finish, but under supervision
• Managing client relationships
• Assisting with business development initiatives
• Keep apprised of changes to local, state, and federal statutes and laws
• Draft legal documents, such as pleadings and notices
• Attend probate court hearings on behalf of clients

Qualifications

• Able to work independently and as part of a team while handling multiple files
• Some experience as an estate planning and probate attorney is preferred, but newly admitted attorneys will be considered.
• Completion of a 4-year bachelor’s degree, as well as a 3-year law degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to California State Bar

Compensation

$90,000 to $120,000
