Experience with California employment litigation and/or business litigation is strongly preferred. Deposition, motion, mediation, arbitration, and trial experience are also valued.
We are looking for more than someone who can complete assignments. The right attorney is intellectually curious, dependable, hardworking, strategic, and committed to becoming an excellent lawyer. You take pride in the quality of your work. You prepare before you are asked. You meet deadlines. You communicate when an issue arises. You accept responsibility for your matters and look for solutions rather than waiting for someone else to solve the problem. Above all, we value dedication: dedication to our clients, our craft, our colleagues, and doing the job correctly.
This is a full-time, primarily remote position. The attorney must nevertheless be available to attend in-person meetings, depositions, court appearances, mediations, trials, client meetings, and other proceedings as required. Because the firm practices throughout California and in-person appearances will periodically be necessary, candidates must be able to travel as reasonably required for client matters.
We are intentionally building a firm where talented attorneys can perform sophisticated work, develop meaningful litigation skills, interact directly with clients, and build long-term careers. We offer the opportunity to work closely with experienced litigators, assume real responsibility, receive substantive feedback and mentorship, and participate in cases from strategy through resolution. As the firm continues to grow, we want attorneys who are interested not merely in having a job, but in helping us build an exceptional law firm. If you are looking for a place where you will be challenged to become a better lawyer, trusted with meaningful responsibility, supported by colleagues who care about the quality of their work, and given the opportunity to make a genuine contribution to a growing firm, we would like to hear from you.
