The successful candidate will handle litigation from inception through resolution, draft pleadings and motions, perform legal research, and prepare witnesses for depositions while maintaining client relationships

Qualifications

• Meaningful experience practicing law, preferably involving civil litigation.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Excellent judgment and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple matters without constant supervision.
• Owns responsibilities and communicates professionally.

Responsibilities

• Managing and assisting with litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, oppositions, replies, discovery, and other substantive legal work.
• Conducting legal research and providing analysis of complex issues.
• Developing written discovery and reviewing document productions and responses.
• Preparing for and taking or defending depositions and attending hearings and mediations.
• Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and third parties.
• Maintaining ownership of deadlines and case responsibilities.
• Collaborating with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to provide exceptional client service.
