We are expanding and seeking an associate attorney with 2 to 10+ years of experience, in good standing with the Pennsylvania State Bar, and experience handling criminal cases. Bilingual Spanish & English a plus.

Some travel to different counties is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Starting salary compensation with an exceptional benefits package is commensurate with experience, ability, and knowledge of the courts.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients and senior associates and other staff to move cases toward resolution efficiently
  • Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff
  • Draft documents such as correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts to be used proceedings and contract negotiations
  • Perform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and give general counsel under the supervision of senior associate attorneys
  • Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action
Qualifications
  • Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients
  • Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA)
  • Candidates must have passed the bar exam
  • Prepared to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base
  • Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
