Job summary

You will engage in client intake, drafting lawsuits, discovery, motions, brief writing, court appearances, depositions, and trial preparation to build a strong personal injury practice.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of injury litigation experience or has completed a judicial clerkship.
• Experience handling client intake, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Practice across Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas is a plus.

Responsibilities

Overview:

Monsees & Mayer is looking for an associate attorney to work on personal injury cases throughout Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas. This position is well suited to an attorney who has completed a judicial clerkship or has 1–3 years of injury litigation experience (plaintiff or defense).

Working alongside our attorneys, this associate attorney will gain invaluable experience across the personal injury litigation from client intake to verdict, including meeting clients, preparing lawsuits and discovery, motion practice, writing briefs, court appearances, depositions, and trial.
