Job summary

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active Indiana bar license.
• Experience in Estate Planning or Probate preferred but not required.
• Strong research, statute interpretation, and drafting abilities.
• Clear, practical legal advice for clients across matters.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Associate Attorney at Jeff Jinks Law. The Associate Attorney will provide legal advice to clients on probate filing and process, designing your Estate Plan, and creating Wills and Trusts along with LLC setup and deed transferring on property. Daily responsibilities include legal research, drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents, analyzing relevant statutes and case law, and preparing client communications and memoranda. The role involves collaborating with senior attorneys on case strategies, and participating in virtual client meetings and consultations. The Associate Attorney will also support compliance efforts and contribute to the development of efficient, client-centered legal processes.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to interpret and apply legal principles accurately.


• Experience or coursework in Estate and real estate Law, with the ability to address probate legal issues.


• Proficiency in providing clear, practical Legal Advice to clients across business and personal matters.


• Solid Research skills for case law analysis, statutory interpretation, and preparation of legal documents.


• Effective Negotiation skills for resolving disputes, reviewing agreements, and advocating for client interests.


• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar license in the state of Indiana.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting contracts, opinions, and client correspondence.


• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple matters, and meet deadlines consistently.


• High ethical standards, sound judgment, and strong attention to detail.


• Experience in Estate Planning law, real estate law, or asset protection planning is preferred but not required.
