Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an Associate Attorney in South Bend, Indiana, for a general practice with estates, family law, patent law and litigation. You will draft documents, conduct legal research, and support trial preparation while maintaining high standards of client service.

The ideal candidate holds a JD and Indiana bar admission, with experience in general or commercial litigation and strong research/writing skills.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in general and commercial litigation, personal injury law, or employment law cases is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law, patent law, or related fields is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw effectively.
  • Experience preparing legal motions, conducting court depositions, and trial preparation is advantageous.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise legal documents under tight deadlines.
  • Prior law office experience involving client communication and case management is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of procedural laws across different jurisdictions enhances effectiveness.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
