Job summary

Gill Family Law in Germantown, TN seeks an associate attorney with 0–3 years of litigation experience in family law. You’ll handle divorce, custody, support, adoption, and Hague cases, working closely with the managing partner and clients as both negotiator and trial attorney.

The firm heavily invests in training, tools, and coaching to help you grow, with licensing in Mississippi and Tennessee preferred but not required. In-person work with flexible WFH options and travel to court as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal rules of practice and procedure.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Draft legal documents, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings
• Interview clients and witnesses
• Prepare for and argue at hearings and trials
• Assist first-chair attorneys with trial preparation

The Role

We're looking for an associate attorney with 0 to 3 years of litigation experience and a genuine passion for family law. You'll handle the full range of family law matters — divorce, child custody and support, paternity, adoption, dependency and neglect, alimony, and Hague Convention cases — working closely with our managing partner and clients as both negotiator and trial attorney.

We invest heavily in the right person: training, tools, and coaching to help you reach — and stay at — the top of your game. Mississippi and Tennessee licensing is preferred but not required.

What You'll Do

• Draft legal documents, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings

Work Environment

Primarily in-person with flexible and WFH options based on team and client needs. Some travel and regular commuting to court and our office are required.
