We have partnered with an established and growing California litigation firm that is actively hiring Associate Attorneys to join its busy insurance defense and public entity defense practice. The firm has a strong litigation-focused team and is continuing to grow. This is an excellent opportunity for an Attorney who genuinely wants to build or deepen a career in civil litigation, with meaningful exposure to hearings, depositions, motion practice and case strategy from the outset. The practice represents insurance carriers, insureds, public entities and other organisations in a broad range of civil litigation matters throughout California.
This is not a role where an associate simply researches and drafts from the sidelines. Attorneys are given hands-on litigation exposure early, including participation in court hearings and depositions. Depending on experience, the successful attorney can expect to:
The Firm Is Open To Attorneys Across a Broad Range Of Experience Levels, From Newer Attorneys Through Highly Experienced Litigators. The Ideal Candidate Will Have
The current billing expectation is approximately 165 hours per month, equivalent to approximately 1,980 hours annually.
The firm is open to remote attorneys located anywhere in California. - $110,000 - $300,000 base salary, with compensation determined primarily by the attorney's experience, litigation background and overall qualifications. The firm is open to considering multiple experience levels and may have the capacity to hire more than one attorney as the practice continues to grow.
For an attorney who wants real litigation responsibility rather than a purely desk-based associate role, this opportunity offers immediate exposure to hearings, depositions and substantive case development. The combination of a growing litigation practice, a broad experience range, California-wide remote flexibility and direct courtroom exposure makes this an attractive opportunity for both developing litigators and experienced attorneys looking for a stronger platform.
