Role Description:

We are seeking a litigation Associate with 2-4 years experience for a full-time position in Fort Lauderdale, FL for insurance defense litigation. The attorney will handle suit and presuit matters, and will assist on cases with the partners, through all phases of litigation and resolution, including preparing motions, discovery, communications with adjusters, clients and experts, preparing cases for trial and attendance at trial, representing insureds for presuit demands, and related tasks.

Qualifications:

• Computer literate and able to prepare own pleadings, correspondence and discovery
• Preferably has insurance defense litigation experience
• Experience taking depositions, attending hearings and arguing motions
• Experience with Outlook, TimeSlips and WordPerfect a plus
• Works well with co-workers, adjusters and clients
