We are looking for an ambitious, early-career attorney eager to dive headfirst into civil litigation defense on behalf of government agencies. This position offers a rare opportunity to transition quickly from government litigation roles to private practice. You will work directly with seasoned partners, taking on meaningful responsibilities from day one rather than just handling document review behind a desk.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft Pleadings: Prepare complaints, answers, motions, and legal memoranda.

• Courtroom Advocacy: Attend hearings, argue motions, and assist with trial preparation.

Qualifications

• Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensure: Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar (or pending results with a strong academic record).
• Experience: 0–3 years of experience in civil or government litigation. Assistant State Attorneys, Assistant Public Defenders, and Agency Litigation Attorneys welcome.
• Skills: Exceptional legal writing, sharp analytical thinking, and strong interpersonal communication.
• Drive: A high degree of initiative, strong organizational habits, and a passion for oral advocacy.
