Sandhu Law Group, LLC in the Greater Cleveland area is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its growing creditors' rights and litigation practice. You will manage a caseload under guidance from senior attorneys and gain courtroom exposure, research, and client advocacy experience.

We welcome recent graduates and experienced litigators who show a strong work ethic, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active Ohio bar license.
• Ohio license required; Kentucky/Indiana licenses a plus.
• Admission to federal courts in Northern and Southern Ohio preferred.
• Experience in creditors' rights, collections, foreclosure or related litigation is favorable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee assigned caseload with attorney supervision.
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues.
• Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients at hearings, status conferences, and court appearances.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Travel to courts throughout the region as required.

Position Overview

As an Associate Attorney, you will manage an individual caseload under the guidance and mentorship of senior attorneys. This role offers substantial courtroom exposure and the opportunity to gain experience in litigation, motion practice, legal research, and client advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee assigned caseloads with attorney supervision.
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues.
• Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients at hearings, status conferences, and court appearances.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Travel to courts throughout the region as required.

While prior litigation experience is preferred, we welcome applications from recent law school graduates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

Required

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio.
• Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.

Preferred

• Experience litigating matters in Ohio state courts.
• Licensed to practice in Kentucky and/or Indiana.
• Admission to the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio.
• Prior experience in creditors' rights, collections, foreclosure, bankruptcy, or related litigation.

Due to client security and data privacy requirements, this position is fully in-office.
