Job summary

Collins + Collins in California is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with 3+ years of civil litigation to join our team and gain real trial experience. You will help develop case strategies, manage all stages of litigation, draft pleadings and motions, and pursue opportunities to try cases.

The ideal candidate is admitted to CA and/or NV Bar in good standing, possesses strong writing and analytical skills, and collaborates closely with clients and our trial and appellate lawyers.

Collins + Collins (C+C) is looking for an experienced 3+ year Associate Attorney to join our team and have the opportunity to actually try cases.

Your Role

As an Associate Attorney at C+C, you will play a pivotal role in litigation matters. You will have the opportunity to develop case strategies, manage all aspects of litigation— from fact investigation to drafting pleadings and motions to actually trying cases — and build strong relationships with clients.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you must be a current member in good standing with the CA (California) Bar and/or NV (Nevada) State Bar. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a keen ability to analyze and write about legal issues. You should also be ready to roll up your sleeves and work closely with clients and our seasoned team of trial and appellate attorneys, manage all stages of litigation, and contribute to the firm’s continued success. If you don’t want to be a trial attorney, that’s ok too but if you do, we have plenty of opportunity for you!

Preferred Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school
• Active CA (California) Bar and/or NV (Nevada) State Bar in good standing
• 3+ years’ experience in civil litigation
• Strong writing, case analysis, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and eager to learn
