Job summary

You will counsel clients, draft pleadings and court documents, conduct legal research, and appear in court to represent clients in various matters. Admission to the New York Bar is required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of general practice experience preferred.
• Admission to the New York Bar required.
• Strong legal research, writing, drafting, and client counseling skills.
• Highly organized with ability to handle a diverse client base and varied caseload.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Counsel clients and provide legal guidance across a diverse range of general practice matters.
• Handle personal injury litigation, DWI/criminal defense, family/matrimonial law, commercial litigation, and eviction matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal documents, and other case-related materials.
• Conduct legal research and prepare well-written legal documents and correspondence.
• Make court appearances and represent clients in litigation and other legal proceedings.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of general practice experience preferred.
• Admission to the New York Bar required.
• Relevant law clerk experience will be considered.
• Strong legal research, writing, drafting, and client counseling skills.
• Highly organized, entrepreneurial, and comfortable handling a diverse client base and varied caseload.
