Role Description

The Associate Attorney will work full time in a hybrid arrangement based in Brentwood, TN, with some flexibility to work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a caseload, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, and providing clear, actionable legal advice to clients under the supervision of senior attorneys. The role involves appearing in court and administrative hearings, participating in negotiations and settlement discussions, and collaborating with colleagues on case strategy.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in legal research, including case law, statutes, and administrative regulations.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license (or eligibility for licensure) to practice law in Tennessee.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting clear legal documents and presenting arguments persuasively.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and a commitment to ethical practice.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, maintaining professionalism with clients, courts, and colleagues.
• Prior experience or interest in litigation, workers’ compensation, liability defense, or related practice areas is beneficial.
