Henderson Scott US is offering a fully remote attorney role for Florida-licensed lawyers. You must reside in Florida and be admitted to the Florida Bar.

This position carries a 40-hour workweek with no billable hours and occasional court appearances in Boca Raton. The role involves handling a broad range of consumer protection matters, including transactional and civil litigation, drafting pleadings and briefs, and negotiating settlements for clients.

Qualificações

• Must be admitted to practice law in Florida (single-state or multi-state admission encouraged)
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm

Responsabilidades

• Maintaining and supervising a heavy & diversified caseload of the firm's clients in FL.
• Communicating with clients regarding their respective matters.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, reviewing & drafting agreements, etc.
• Communicating with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims.
• Legal research related to simple and complex issues in contract law and other areas of consumer law

This is a fully remote role outside of court appearances. You must live in Florida and MUST BE admitted to practice law in Florida. Ideally, you live near Boca Raton for court appearances.
**there are no billable hours and this is a strictly 40 hour per week role**
This position imparts broad responsibilities and exposes you to a range of legal issues related to consumer protection, including transactional and civil litigation matters.
You will manage litigation cases and resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients by developing agreements, negotiating contracts, setting claims and advocating for clients in court.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and supervising a heavy & diversified caseload of the firm's clients in FL
• Communicating with clients regarding their respective matters
• Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, reviewing & drafting agreements, etc.
• Communicating with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims
• Legal research related to simple and complex issues in contract law and other areas of consumer law

Qualifications:

• Must be currently admitted to practice law in FL (multi-state admission would be amazing)
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm
