Job summary

Henderson Scott US is seeking a licensed Florida attorney for a fully remote role outside of court appearances. You must reside in Florida and be admitted to practice law in Florida, with ideal proximity to Boca Raton for occasional court appearances.

The position offers a broad exposure to consumer protection matters, including transactional and civil litigation. You will manage litigation cases, develop agreements, negotiate contracts, set claims, and advocate for clients in court when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be currently admitted to practice law in FL (multi-state admission would be amazing)
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and supervising a heavy & diversified caseload of the firm's clients in FL
• Communicating with clients regarding their respective matters
• Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, reviewing & drafting agreements, etc.
• Communicating with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims
• Legal research related to simple and complex issues in contract law and other areas of consumer law

**there are no billable hours and this is a strictly 40 hour per week role**
This position imparts broad responsibilities and exposes you to a range of legal issues related to consumer protection, including transactional and civil litigation matters.
