Job summary

Stealth Law Firm in Birmingham, AL 35243 is seeking an attorney with an active Alabama Bar license to join our civil litigation defense team. Recent graduates with an active Bar license can also apply.

The position manages civil litigation from inception through resolution, conducts research, handles depositions, and drafts pleadings. Salary ranges from $100,000 to $135,000 annually, plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Alabama Bar license in good standing.
• Willing to practice defense-focused law including insurance defense/med mal/product liability/civil litigation.

We are partnering with a prominent litigation and defense law firm based in Birmingham, Alabama, known for deep legal roots, extensive trial experience, and recognized medical malpractice defense capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy recommendations.
• Handle depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
• Develop case strategy and provide practical, business-focused legal advice.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions, hearings, mediations, and other proceedings.

Qualifications

• Active Alabama Bar license in good standing
• Experience in any practice whether it is plaintiff or defense but must be open to do a defense practice (insurance defense/ medmal/ medical malpractice/ product liability/ civil litigation/ defense litigation/personal injury/ mass tort)

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 - $135,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
