Role Description

The Associate Attorney will handle a caseload of injury-related matters, including auto accident and personal injury cases. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, preparing demand packages, and reviewing medical and employment records. The role involves providing legal advice to clients, participating in negotiations with insurers and opposing counsel, and appearing at hearings, depositions, and other proceedings as needed. The Associate Attorney will collaborate with attorneys and staff to develop case strategies, maintain organized case files, and ensure timely communication with clients. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Baltimore, MD.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law with experience or coursework in personal injury and civil litigation.
• Ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice to clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in legal Research, including case law, statutes, and administrative regulations.
• Effective Negotiation skills for settlements, mediations, and discussions with insurers and opposing counsel.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and admission to the Maryland Bar.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with attention to detail in drafting legal documents.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple cases and deadlines.
• Professional demeanor, ethical judgment, and commitment to client-centered advocacy.
• Prior experience in personal injury law is preferred.
