Trial and Appellate Attorney - Managing Member at Ramon Worthington Nicolas & Cantu, PLLC (Austin office)

Ramon Worthington Nicolas & Cantu is seeking an associate attorney with three to five years of experience for its Austin-area (Bee Cave/Hill Country Galleria) office. The associate will join the litigation team defending first party insurance, complex commercial, personal injury and professional liability (legal malpractice and grievance) matters.

Work includes day to day responsibility for a manageable case load, including written discovery, pleadings, motions, fact investigation, depositions, trial preparations and client reporting. The firm actively encourages associate attorneys to:

• take and defend depositions
• prepare witnesses
• argue motions at hearings
• communicate directly with clients
• when possible, join trial teams.

Attention to detail and excellent research and writing skills are required. The position is full-time, in person, beginning as soon as possible.

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, and the firm offers comprehensive benefits including medical, 401k, and long term disability.
