What Our Associate Attorneys Do:

• Attend court hearings, perform legal research, and collaborate with other attorneys to offer legal advice
• Maintain organized files to ensure accessibility of recent updates to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff
• Analyze legal matters for conflicts, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on their behalf
• Prepare legal documents and correspondence, including contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements
• Communicate effectively with paralegals and clients to ensure efficient case management

What We Need From You:

• Must have passed the bar exam and hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA)
• Admission to the Texas Bar
• Evidence of current Texas Driver’s License and automobile insurance
• Minimum of 2 years of experience handling family law cases in the state of Texas (required)
• Ability to track billable hours
• Advanced knowledge of MS Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new programs easily
• Strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and reliability
• Problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills
