Responsibilities

• Case management of a busy civil docket with deadlines and client updates.
• Discovery: draft and respond to interrogatories, requests for production, conduct/defend depositions.
• Court appearances: represent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials in Arizona.
• Requirements: exceptional writing and oral advocacy; proficient with Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure.

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Civil Litigation Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has transitioned past the "learning the ropes" phase and is ready to take primary responsibility for a diverse caseload. You will be deeply involved in all stages of litigation, from initial case evaluation through trial preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Motion Practice: Researching and drafting complex substantive motions, including Motions to Dismiss, Motions for Summary Judgment, and discovery-related applications.
• Case Management: Managing a busy civil litigation docket, ensuring all deadlines are met and clients are consistently updated.
• Discovery: Overseeing the full discovery process, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and conducting/defending depositions.
• Court Appearances: Representing clients in hearings, mediations, and arbitrations and trials throughout Arizona.
• Skills: Exceptional writing and oral advocacy skills are non-negotiable. You should becomfortable navigating the Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure.
