Job description

Established plaintiff personal‑injury firm seeking an associate attorney with experience handling personal‑injury cases. By joining this firm, the candidate will enjoy and benefit from the many resources afforded by a culture of teamwork, integrity, passion and respect.

The right candidate will have a positive attitude and be comfortable interacting with clients, adjusters, paralegals and attorneys in a fast‑paced legal environment; must have excellent integrity, work ethic, and drive; must have a willingness to learn and adapt to firm systems and follow firm processes; and must have the ability to respond positively to constructive feedback.

The candidate will manage a challenging workload of cases involving heavy motion, discovery, and trial practice. The candidate will have significant responsibility over all phases of a case from inception through trial—including pre‑litigation investigation of potential claims; drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery; handling hearings; taking depositions; preparing and presenting clients for depositions and mediations; handling mediations; negotiating and settling claims; preparing for trial; and trial. The candidate must be an effective communicator with excellent writing and oral‑advocacy skills. The ability to be strategic and analytical is required.

  • Trial experience is preferred
