Job summary

CONMED seeks an Assembly Operator to perform a variety of medical product assembly tasks in a Largo, FL clean room environment. Work follows written and verbal instructions and requires careful checking with potential microscope use.

Responsibilities include setting up packaging devices, labeling, printing paperwork, and assembling both sterile and non-sterile products. Candidates should have at least 1 year in assembly/packaging, ability to lift 20 lbs, and stand 10 hours, with good English

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in assembly/packaging.
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds and stand for 10 hours.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Check work for proper assembly; may use microscope to ensure specifications are met.

• Follow all clean room gowning requirements (PPE).
• Assemble, label, and package sterile and non-sterile products or sub-assemblies; complete paperwork.
• Print labels as required and complete associated paperwork.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and machines.
• Participate in other duties and special projects as assigned.

Must be able to stand 10 hours/day.Knowledge Requirements:Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Able to work at established production rates and demonstrate good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
