Job summary
Spirax-Sarco Engineering is seeking an Associate Application Engineer to analyze heating applications and design innovative, customer-focused solutions. You will work on customer quotes to develop cost-effective heating and temperature control solutions and provide technical support to the sales team alongside design engineering.

Qualifications
- 1+ years of related engineering experience or equivalent.
- BS in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering preferred.
- Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and quote premium solutions for standard and customer-specific thermal applications.
- Coordinate quotation and order entry activities with sales force, estimation, engineering, and plant personnel.
- Understand markets and competition in each market to manage quotations of competitive designs.
- Review terms and conditions, customer drawings, and specification packages to identify key requirements of the customer request.
- Assist sales engineers with expertise in offering optimal thermal solutions for unique applications.
- Lead meetings with engineering, estimation, production, project management, finance, and sales to gain visibility and communicate accurate dates to customers for large order opportunities.
