Job summary

Greystar is seeking an early-career Associate Analytics Engineer to turn data into products that drive smarter business decisions. You will join a forward-deployed Decision Intelligence pod and work on dashboards, predictive models, and lightweight web apps while learning the business goals, workflows, and challenges.

You’ll collaborate with business partners, build data models, and apply AI to automate workflows, ensuring data quality and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience; internships, co-ops, academic projects, and personal projects count.
• Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of Python.
• Exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in your work, coursework, or personal projects.
• Curious, resourceful, and comfortable learning new technologies and unfamiliar business problems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Use SQL, Python, Databricks, and AI-enabled tools to analyze data and build data products.
• Work directly with business partners to understand problems and turn them into practical solutions.
• Build and maintain reliable data models, dashboards, analyses, and other analytics products.
• Use AI tools and automation as part of your day-to-day development workflow.
• Validate data quality and help ensure the products you build are accurate, reliable, and well documented.
• Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical partners.
• Take on increasing ownership as your technical skills and understanding of the business grow.
